    We are looking for a Business Development and Engineering (BDE) Manager to join our legendary Freia Plant in Oslo, where tradition meets innovation. This is your opportunity to shape the future of snacking while working at one of Norway's most iconic sites.

    About the Role

    As a BDE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our plant leadership team, driving growth, operational excellence, and engineering innovation. You'll lead strategic projects, manage capital investments, oversee product and process advancements, and coach a talented team—all while ensuring top-tier safety, quality, and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead site engineering best practices using IL6S and I2M methodologies.
    • Manage capital investment plans and project execution.
    • Drive capacity planning and the plant’s strategic roadmap.
    • Develop and lead the local BDE team, ensuring the smooth implementation of innovations.
    • Influence stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance production and business outcomes.
    • Support local teams to achieve business-critical milestones and targets, including involvement in audits, hoshin kanri/KPIs, and ad-hoc quality and safety issues. You will also provide support during breakdowns and ensure asset reliability.

    What You Will Bring

    • Strong CPG manufacturing experience with TPM, LEAN, and Six Sigma tools.
    • Proven experience implementing multi-discipline projects, managing a project portfolio, and driving change.
    • Servant-leader dynamic—able to lead a lean team managing multiple projects, tasks, and parallel activities.
    • Commercial experience, including collaboration with procurement, suppliers, marketing, R&D, and other cross-functional international stakeholders.
    • Proactive and engaged personality with excellent strategic thinking and hands-on project management skills.
    • University degree in Engineering and experience managing teams and projects in production environments.
