Job Description

As a member of the Product Development & Strategy Team for Global Client Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to all aspects of the team’s work. This includes research and market intelligence related to the broader industry and competitor landscape, evaluation of new business concepts and product ideas, analysis, and scenario modeling, and developing data-driven recommendations, all with the purpose of spearheading the increased growth and innovation of our private fund franchise.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Monitoring key industry and competitor trends and liaising directly with internal partners and

  • stakeholders

  • Evaluating new business and product ideas and develop data-driven recommendations to drive Firm’s growth

  • Working closely with the investment, marketing, legal, tax and fund operations teams on a variety of projects

  • Performing financial analyses to inform business decisions and growth opportunities

  • Researching relevant industry and competitor analyses in areas of focus for the Firm to help drive product development decisions

  • Understanding key market trends and competitor activities within the alternatives industry to inform the Firm’s product development strategy and business decisions

  • Supporting the firm’s senior leadership on ad hoc research projects

Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of financial services‐related experience with a focus on the asset management industry

  • Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background; additional credentials including CFA,CAIA, MBA or CPA a bonus

  • Strong research, analytical, modeling, and quantitative skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills, strong knowledge of PowerPoint

  • Experience in private funds and knowledge of the investment management industry

  • Ability to handle a large volume of work with tight deadlines, and ad-hoc requests as required

  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships and work with professionals at all levels and departments within the organization

  • Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity

  • Team player with positive attitude and pro-active approach to work

Salary Range: $230K - $250K

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations
