What You Will Do:

  • This position involves working directly with clients to develop fleet optimization / electrification strategic plans, business cases, and cost/benefit and other analyses to maximize client value while also limiting risk.
  • This is a highly challenging position that draws heavily upon all the analytical, creative, and interpersonal skills essential to effective regulatory and general strategy consulting.
  • The role requires frequent communications with clients and coworkers while effectively sharing information.
  • Solution Delivery: This position will develop and deliver on-the-ground fleet optimization / electrification solutions that produce outcomes for clients through end-to-end, turnkey program models.
  • Primary responsibilities include: preparing and presenting analysis, reports, and other documents for internal and/or external client use; leading small project teams; managing project budgets within scope and schedule.


What You Will Need:

  •  US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related fields AND 9+ total years post-graduation work experience; Or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related fields AND 7+ total years post-graduation work experience
  • Total years of experience must include 3+ years of government or commercial fleet industry experience
  • Technical, policy, and/or financial understanding of transportation and energy markets.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Proposal writing experience including budget development and managing proposal timeline with a variety of subject matter experts providing input.
  • Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare, analyze, and transmit data.
  • Familiarity working with the latest collaborative software platforms and tools that facilitate team collaboration.
  • Able to travel via airplane with minimal assistance to client sites across the U.S. and potentially internationally.
  • Ability to work onsite in a core Guidehouse Office or Client Office location

 
What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Preference will be given to candidates currently residing within reasonable driving distance to a core Guidehouse Office
  • Fleet industry experience with a logistics or other transportation services provider
  • Direct experience as a Fleet Manager or consulting to Fleet Managers.
  • Strong fleet industry network and executive level relationships to generate qualified leads for business development pursuits.

The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
