Location: Texas OR Southern California - Remote

About the role:

 Are you a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for sales and cloud technology? Do you thrive in an outbound sales environment characterized by high velocity transactions?  We’re looking for tenacious, gritty, eager and excited hunters that will be instrumental in partnering with our prospects to drive Aviatrix to be the predominant cloud enterprise networking technology.  

As an Account Executive at Aviatrix, you will play a pivotal role in our growth strategy as we transition our company to a prescriptive, use case centric selling goliath. You will work closely with your marketing counterparts who are executing a disciplined account based marketing trajectory to co-identify and then engage high propensity prospects.  You’ll work side-by-side with our next generation BDR team who are trained on our unique genAI prospecting and client development toolset to engage prospects with unrivaled insights. You’ll be surrounded by a passionate team of well trained field engineers, partner managers, business value experts and post-sales value engineers to help ensure that you are proposing high value and high reward initial land orders. Your primary focus will be on generating new leads, nurturing relationships, and closing deals.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales activities to identify and connect with potential clients.
  • Research and understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and our evolving product offerings.

Requirements

  • Selling experience in networking, cyber security or infrastructure tooling.
  • Experience as a BDR, SDR and/or ISR prior to AE experience.
  • High curiosity and a deep desire to iterate, experiment and learn
  • High comfort with sales tooling, social media and LinkedIn outreach, GenAI and high leverage technologies.
  • Demonstrated background as a team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts is a plus.
  • Experience successfully operating in a high integrity MEDDPICC environment is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • The US OTE compensation range for this full-time position is $205,800 - $282,100 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education.  The range displayed is applicable only for new hires for the listed position located in the US.
