Channel Development Specialist - North America Aftermarket Parts


Who You Are

You are a dynamic business professional, currently in a marketing role or having transitioned from sales-related positions, channel programs, or channel expansion pathways that align closely with marketing responsibilities.

With a minimum of five years of experience, you have developed a strong foundation in channel development within a regional context, ideally focusing on the North American market. Your background may include experience in consumer-facing businesses, B2B roles, or a combination of both.

What You Will Do

In this role within our North America Aftermarket Parts team, you will work closely with the Channel Marketing Manager and engage regularly with multiple teams. You will be expected to build relationships across multiple functions within the organization, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Management. Your role in fostering cross-functional discussions and alignment will be critical in shaping the marketing investments and actions specific to the North American market.

Key objectives will include:

  • Collaborating with regional and local business leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and investment in channel expansion initiatives, particularly focused on eCommerce and retail environments.

  • Engaging with regional marketing teams to enhance marketing execution in accordance with agreed channel expansion strategies, providing support through resource optimization and shared learning.

  • Leading the development and execution of targeted programs to boost engagement and loyalty among channel partners and installers across key North American markets, fostering collaboration across multiple functions beyond just marketing.

  • Contributing to the establishment of consistent reporting structures for marketing metrics that align with North American market strategies and other regional nuances.

  • Maintaining and supporting sales performance dashboard by PBU, Channel, Account Manager, and Customer and support Account Managers on Quarterly business reviews

  • Managing, administering, measuring and report on channel budgets, co-marketing funds, rebate and promotion programs/campaigns, and ROI.

  • Developing new sales growth programs, including framework, communication, collateral, forecasting, target setting and performance tracking.

  • Driving awareness to inform partners of the latest campaigns, offerings, and tools that the organization is creating to help them grow their businesses. Leveraging different media.

  • Developing and managing local partner engagement activities including partner events (e.g. PACs), to-partner communications, partner training.

  • Leading event management activities, social media campaigns, and the creation of marketing collaterals suitable for varied target audiences.

  • Leading regular customer and market communications via e-newsletters, maintaining mailing databases and purchasing lists for direct mail campaigns, including target market programs.

  • Supporting Sales teams in introduction and optimal utilization of new and existing sales support tools (i.e. Parts Identification tool, Order Management tool, SFDC, etc.)


What We Look For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in B2C and/or B2B channel development, marketing, or sales roles, emphasizing practical knowledge of marketing strategies tailored for North America.

  • Experience in regional roles, showcasing an understanding of the North American market landscape.

  • A creative background with an ability to think outside the box, providing novel solutions and ideas to enhance marketing efforts.

  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset; you can devise strategies and execute plans effectively.

  • A collaborative spirit; you actively seek to connect teams and foster a culture of teamwork, steering clear of siloed operations.

  • This role is based in North America, remote.
