EBay is looking for a highly motivated and hardworking Data Science Analyst to join the EBay’s Structure Data Organization.

The Structured Data group owns key technology parts of the eBay platform. The group solutions address diverse Sellers\ Buyers experiences and external traffic (SEO).

In this role you will be on our best-in-class analytic team to derive data driven decisions across the organization, working with PMs, researchers, developers and operations. Provide them insights and analytics solutions.

It’s an incredible opportunity to meet face-to-face with one the largest and diverse public e-commerce platforms and its huge data. Learning about different frontiers of the domain, both sellers’ and buyers’ behaviors, and understanding the business agenda and technology solutions.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of relevant domain expertise
  • Superb communication skills, specifically written and verbal communication
  • Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to lead and collaborate with ad-hoc teams
  • Strong data analytics and data validation skills and proficiency in business data analysis (MS Excel, etc.)
  • Strong capabilities in communicating through compelling stories and visualizations
  • SQL skills for basic and advanced data analysis
  • Critical thinker with intuitive understanding of complex systems
