Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire application development process and ensuring its successful implementation. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing the project, and providing technical expertise and guidance. With your strong leadership skills and extensive experience in Oracle Procurement Cloud, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of applications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring effective communication.
• Customize and configure Oracle Fusion applications to align with business needs and process requirements.
• In this role will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Oracle Procurement, Sourcing and Contracts Cloud modules supporting the design, configuration, validation and realization of the modules delivering a solution that meets the company objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen
• Facilitate the conversion of contracts and agreements originating externally from the Oracle platform, whether initiated by the Global Procurement team or independent stakeholders, to conform with Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement Contract standards.
• Administer the setup and configuration of agreements within the Oracle system, ensuring seamless integration for stakeholders to utilize Self Service Procurement functionalities in acquiring contracted services.
• Advise and creation of Smart Forms to facilitate the repeated requisition of certain products and services; personally design, implement, deploy, and maintain Smart Forms based on stakeholder requirements.
• Should have experience working on Implementation and Support Projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage the project timeline, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful application development.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, resolving any technical issues that arise.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
- Perform system testing and debugging to identify and resolve any defects or issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the application development process.
- Train and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procurement Cloud.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Experience in leading and managing application development projects.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle Procurement Cloud.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Procurement Cloud modules and their integration with other systems.
- Experience in customizing and configuring Oracle Procurement Cloud to meet business requirements.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in Oracle Procurement Cloud applications.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Experience with web services and API integration.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and its integration with Oracle Procurement Cloud.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Oracle Procurement Cloud.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full-time education is required.
