What You Will Do
As the Associate Finance Manager, you will serve as the key finance partner to the Marketing and Selling businesses within the Spine business unit. You will also have broad oversight of all operating expenses, helping mentor other team members. Primary responsibilities include financial forecasting/budgeting, month end close, reporting, expense management, and ad hoc analysis.
Drive accountability and accuracy in financial results and projections. Ensure expenses are effectively managed throughout the year and communicate analysis to influence business changes to improve financial position.
Participate in monthly close activities including but not limited to variance analysis, reporting and financial reviews with business leaders, offering invaluable business insights and identifying avenues for improvement.
Collaborate with business leaders to develop the annual budgets and quarterly projections. You will manage the development, consolidation, review and submission for the Marketing and Selling functions including compensation, commissions and operating expenses.
Manage lease payments and perform ad hoc analysis to evaluate various strategies.
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide ad hoc analyses and decision support for projects as needed.
Ensure familiarity and correct application of GAAP accounting standards as well as Corporate compliance policies and principles.
What You Need
Required
Bachelor’s degree
6+ years of accounting or finance experience
Preferred
JDE, BPC and Hyperion Financial Management experience
MBA or CPA
$85,500 - $182,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Preference will be given to candidates located in EST or CST time zones
