The Opportunity:

Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Budget Analyst supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze program requirements to determine financial resource needs

  • Track program progress and control spending across complex IT initiatives

  • Analyze the impact or potential impact of missed or inadequate deliverables on program accomplishment

  • Develop and present reports on analysis findings to higher-level management

  • Draft program documentation to support financial activities

  • Review and track performance metrics

  • Monitor and analyze accounting allocation and spending data

  • Track expenses, inventories, and budget balances

  • Measure actual performance against budget

  • Prepare forecasting reports and trend analysis

  • Develop recommendations for budget allocations that conform to budgetary policies and limits

  • Utilize financial modeling and data analytics tools

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in budget analysis or related area

  • Experience with financial modeling and data analytics tools

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems

Desired:

  • Experience with DoD/Navy programs or similar government financial systems

  • Knowledge of federal budget processes and procedures

  • Familiarity with government contracting and procurement processes

  • Experience with financial reporting in complex IT programs

  • Understanding of DoD financial management regulations

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial databases

  • Professional certification (e.g., CDFM, CPA)

This position offers an opportunity to play a crucial role in managing financial resources for a complex Navy IT program. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment requiring careful tracking and analysis of program finances.

Note: Position supports NMMES program which includes complex financial tracking across multiple systems, locations, and program areas. Must be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders and managing budgets for both legacy system maintenance and new technology implementations.

The role requires someone who can:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial analysis

  • Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial reporting

  • Ensure compliance with government financial regulations

  • Develop and maintain effective budget tracking systems

  • Identify and analyze financial trends and patterns

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
