You'll work independently on low to moderately complex regulatory design and maintenance projects, ensuring quality and consistent output. The RDS role plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement. • Design and develop regulatory instruments in collaboration with technical experts.

  • Craft concise documents for executive decision-making, and support stakeholder feedback and final publication alignment.

  • Assist the Regulatory Information Analyst and support Senior RDSs on higher complexity projects.

  • Engage in professional development to enhance skills and contribute to AER’s regulatory processes.

What we are looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in policy studies, economics, law, sciences, engineering, or business.

  • 5-7 years of experience in regulatory analysis, policy development, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of Alberta and other jurisdictions' legislation and regulatory frameworks is a must.
