The Office of Campus Housing (OCH) serves to make NTU the hub and destination to deliver best-in-class campus for learning, working, and living. OCH is a critical department responsible for student and faculty housing on campus, the sports and recreational facilities, and its related services.

We are looking for individuals who have a strong passion for delivering exceptional service to residents of the University’s student and faculty housing, athletes and users of sports & recreation facilities on campus. 

The role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop, contribute and grow oneself holistically across areas of excellence in customer relationship management and corporate functions (e.g. finance/ billing, resident relations, facilities management, etc.) within the Department.

If you are a diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a finance/ billing/ procurement role and customer service/ relationship management, you may be the one whom we are looking for.  Having an experience in student hostels, staff housing or hospitality services would be a plus for this role!

The incumbent is required to:

  • Ensure accurate billing of hall fees and other payable items for student accommodation as well as processing refunds for early withdrawals.

  • Review customer outstanding records and aging report regularly and conduct prompt debt recovery measures.

  • Engage residents/ stakeholders on their queries/ requests received via various channels (e.g. ServiceNow, over the counter, phone calls and emails) and ensure quality resolution within stipulated SLA (service-level-agreement) requirements.  Cases include requests for waiver of late fees, instalment payments and lifting of barring for course registration. 

  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process such as raising of purchase requisitions, performing goods receipt, and ensuring prompt payment to vendors.  Assist in preparation of tender documents such as requirement specifications where necessary and ensuring purchase orders for completed work are closed in time for year-end financial year closing.

  • Support other corporate services and service management from time to time:

    • Perform cross-functional duties such as resident relations and facilities management to support the turnaround of rooms, mass check-ins and other coordination work with the rest of the Hall Office team to provide a good residential experience.

    • Assist Co-ordinating Unit to reply ServiceNow tickets after release of hall application result in June.

    • Update and maintain accurate records to fulfill administrative and financial requirements.

    • Contribute to building a useful repository of best-practice templates for use to respond to common queries.
