This hands-on job is responsible for managing all facets within the operations on the weekend shift. In this role they will lead and manage within a fast-paced reverse logistics and repair environment, focusing on safety, operational excellence, self-motivation, problem-solving, and teamwork. This leader must be able to collaborate and work with other leaders across shifts, department and sites. Responsibilities include ensuring effective operation by working with the supervisors to complete customer priorities based on demand schedules, assigning tasks/projects as needed, coordinating the flow of work, oversee completion of work, monitor key performance metrics (KPI), managing labor efficiency across the area of responsibility, mentor/coach leaders and manage headcount. Must possess the ability to multitask, pay attention to details, have a good understanding of manufacturing, quality, inventory, and warehousing processes. This role will leverage the use of Lean Principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Delivers and manages Customer Service Levels (SLAs) and On-Time Delivery (OTD)
Develop and implement process improvements and coordinate new product introductions
Collaborate with other leaders within the site to monitor inventory level and accuracy, materials, equipment, and the request for capital equipment as needed
Work with senior management to establish department and company goals and rely on experience, judgment, and innovation to achieve them
Meet production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service level agreements, resolving problems, and identifying process improvements
Maintain flow of operations by communicating production status, requirements and problems to next shift
Provide leadership and training to accomplish the operational goals and objectives
Drive engagement across area of responsibility and work with the leaders to review and address their peakon scores
Provide a clean, organized, and safe work environment for personnel to work in while ensuring all safety and environmental regulations are followed
Ensure adherence to company policies and process standards, while maintaining employee morale and overseeing the training of new and existing staff
Liaison between teams, shifts, functional areas, supervisors and departments, and partner with vendor/customer/client representatives
Work with supervisor to ensure they are effectively managing their headcount and complete supervisory tasks which includes hiring, performing performance reviews and mentoring/coaching and disciplinary actions
Meet production financial standards by controlling and minimizing operation expenses
Manager responsibilities include driving/maintaining cost within the business guidelines for their area of ownership
Review reports to ensure that the team/dept is attaining the desired performance metrics
Follow up with the leaders on their areas of opportunity

Pay Range:
$71,300.00 - $119,100.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
