The Claim Support Technician provides basic customer service for all Claim Operations activities in accordance with Company and Claim Operations standards, processes and workflows.

This position will be located in Omaha, NE Office and eligible for hybrid work after the completion of training.

What will you do?

  • Provide basic customer service for all Claim Operations activities in accordance with Company and Claim Operations standards
  • Monitor processes and workflows, including but not limited to creating records of new reported losses in ClaimCenter and ImageRight;
  • Respond to telephone status inquiries from Agents, Claimants, Insureds, and others;(c) verify and maintain reporting for Catastrophe codes;(d) obtain and verify required information for Medicare reporting; and (e)verify information in Total Loss Audit reporting.

What are we looking for?

  • High school diploma or GED and additional vocational courses
  • 2-3 years related work experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Personal computer and related software

Who would excel in this role?

  • You adhere to Company or Claim Operations policies and procedures
  • You understand basic insurance terms and coverages
  • You have 2 years of college or a business-related Associates degree
  • You have 35 wpm keyboarding skills and type with accuracy
  • You possess excellent oral and written communication skills
