Job Summary

The Physician Relations team serves as liaisons between Corewell Health and the physician practices in our community. Through relationship management our priority is to help providers and their staff best care for their patients. Through issue resolution, connectivity solutions, education and support the Physician Relations team will remove barriers and assist in activities that transform the model of care. Physician Relations will work in alignment with Clinically Integrated Network strategies to build exceptional value for all patients within the communities we serve. 

Physician Relations, in close connection with Information Services, will be the business owner of provider and staff Epic connectivity. Physician Liaisons will identify electronic connectivity solutions for community providers and facilitate integration of those tools. 
All non-Corewell Health employee users report to Physician Relations. This allows Physician Relations to control access requests through Service Now, ensuring appropriate use of electronic tools. We must provide the highest level of customer service to these users to maintain continuity of care. 

Essential Functions

  • Work with Liaisons to ensure community practices are connected electronically to the correct tools
  • Facilitate access requests for non-employed physician providers and staff
  • Attestation of users 
  • Receive and verify catalog requests 
  • Database management (EpicCare Link and SalesForce)
  • Coordinate EpicCare Link request process
  • Develop and maintain EpicCare Link training collateral with both Physician Relations and EpicCare Link analyst teams
  • Solicit feedback from end-users to inform EpicCare Link application build adjustments
  • Work with EpicCare Link analysts to ensure build adjustments improve end-user experience  
  • Develop communication to end users for downtime, new build, changes to EpicCare Link
  • Generate and reconcile reports from EpicCare Link to illustrate usage, orders, referrals data

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's Degree specific course work in office administration/secretarial science or equivalent level of education and experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience in secretarial/clerical and computer skills.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in administrative projects, program management, hospital/physician office, statistical data collection and analysis.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in working in a high volume service industry in business or accounting, cash handling, data systems, managed care, and Medicare product industry.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a health care or medical research environment.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in dealing with the public, preferably in the medical or customer service field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in database development.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting directing the workload of others, specimen collection and client services.
