The Director of Talent & Organizational Development designs and delivers people-centric programs and practices that drive business outcomes. This role is responsible for ensuring the organization has the right talent and roles for the organization now and in the future.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build our talent management efforts to drive a dynamic and regular cadence of outcomes-focused talent discussions.
  • Create integrated talent frameworks and approaches to enable robust organizational and talent conversations.
  • Design and execute simple, impactful, talent and organizational development practices and processes (e.g., talent reviews, succession planning, career frameworks, etc.).
  • Partner to inform the needs for systems and other solutions to support talent processes and enable real-time updates, reporting and trend/action identification.
  • Connect talent planning activities to professional/career development and create skill-based tools to drive this across the organization.
  • Drive change management, adoption, and stakeholder engagement for talent initiatives, creating a consistent talent development ‘brand’ with focus on end users.
  • Create communications, training materials and other resources to enable stakeholders to easily adopt new processes or practices.
  • Leverage analytics to identify trends and make recommendations for changes or improvements to drive target outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues (e.g., HRBPs, HR Operations, Compensation) to build meaningful, user-friendly talent solutions.
  • Manage projects of high complexity that promote the effectiveness of programs.

Education, Experience & Critical Capabilities for Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or similar field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience within HR and/or Talent Management with a minimum of 2+ years focused specifically on Talent Management/Development and/or Organizational Development.
  • Experience driving the development and use of talent practices, including succession planning, talent reviews/discussions, retention/engagement initiatives and career frameworks.
  • Experience with Human Capital Management that enables to process (preferably Workday).
