Reports to an Associate Manager within the HR Operations team for the assigned area of specialty, this role serves as a member of the HR Service Delivery team.  This role provides transactional excellent in the handling of specialized HR transactions and processes.  Areas of specialization may include one or more of the following areas:  HR data and transactions, leave of absence, employee records management, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition.  Responsible for maintaining data integrity, executing processes consistently, and providing accurate information to employees, managers and other HR team members with high levels of customer service.  The incumbent is expected to identify and resolve problems with minimum direction.  Utilizes standard operating procedures to daily work.  Aligns with the escalation model for issues outside of their scope.

Core Responsibilities

  • Performs transactional and process orientated work in area of specialty.  This may include the entry, review or approval of transactions, audit of data, proactive employee outreach, sending of individual or mass communications, running and manipulation of reports and data, update of information in HR systems or spreadsheets.  Ensures accuracy of information and necessary approvals and processes are followed.

  • Addresses escalated inquiries from the HR Shared Service Center for issues of moderate or high complexity in area of specialty.  Responds to inquiries utilizing all available tools and resources and provides excellent and friendly service to the customer. 

  • Updates procedural documentation for new scenarios or as requested when changes occur.

  • May coordinate small projects or changes in area of specialty.

  • Follows protocols for documentation, employee outreach, quality guidelines, and engaging of translation services.

  • Escalates highest level issues including questions of policy interpretation or system error.

  • Upholds service level agreement metrics for problem resolution timeframes.

  • Stays abreast of changes to policies and practices.

  • Works independently without the need for continuous oversight.

  • Ensures employee privacy where appropriate, including confidentiality and protection of sensitive client reports or information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent from an accredited four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

  • Skilled at completing detailed and repetitive work accurately.

  • Bilingual skills a plus.

  • Experience using HR software required.

  • Strong excel and general computer skills. 

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Microsoft office, email, and internet skills required

  • Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in writing with all levels within the organization demonstrating a high level of integrity and ethics.

  • Must display strong customer service skills
