The HRBP Specialist serves as an extension to a regional HRBP teams (Canada, US, Mexico, or South America). The HRBP Specialist will support regional HRBPs by performing various transactional/administrative and tactical actions which enables the core regional team to maintain a strategic focus. The specialist will also work with the regional team to identify opportunities to improve, digitize, automate, and overall streamline their processes.

Job Functions

  • Management of a project’s tasks, due dates, coordination of meetings and basic knowledge of PM’s.
  • Serve as HRBP lead in execution of HR system transactions and reporting including, but not limited to: Support of the job requisition process (creation/tracking of requisitions, etc.), processing of employee documents (corrective actions, FML letters, etc.), and generation of reports.
  • Regularly communicates with regional partners to receive direction and support as well as provide clear updates of work progress.
  • Manages and balances multiple demands and priorities to achieve optimal results while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Professional discretion is critical when handling sensitive employee data.
  • Active engagement and planning with regional counterparts on current and upcoming projects.
  • Aptitude to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and learn multiple internal HR systems.
  • Runs routine reports. Responsible for timely and concise reporting.
  • Collaborates with COE on HR related matters.
  • Creates and tracks inquiries using Nissan’s case management tool.
  • Manages administrative and transactional tasks.
  • Translation of documents from Spanish to English and vice versa
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above is representative.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Required Key Competencies:
    HR Technical Skills and Knowledge, Business Acumen, Judgment and Decision Making, Effective Communication, Professional Presence and Credibility, and Relationship Building / Organizational Savvy
  • PM experience (preferred)
  • Language:
    Advanced Fluency in English required.
  • Experience:
    2-3 years of directly related professional level Human Resources experience.
  • Education:
    bachelor’s degree in business, HR or related field
  • Computer Skills:
    Requires strong experience and skills with Office programs (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and other common project and data tools (such as Tableau) for analyzing and presenting projects and data. Experience with Workday or other HCM systems preferred. Experience with Monday.com or similar cloud base systems.
