JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR ROLE AS A: Officer, Cargo Standards and Compliance
You'll be a key guardian of our cargo operations, ensuring every package we fly meets the highest standards! As a Cargo Standards and Compliance Officer, you'll be responsible for keeping our air transportation of goods running smoothly and in full compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Compliance & Standardization: Coordinate with other departments to ensure everyone follows the rules and maintains standardized procedures for cargo transportation.
Regulations Expert: Stay up-to-date on all relevant rules and regulations for air cargo and communicate new updates and announcements to internal and external parties.
Data & Reporting: Collect, compile, and analyze statistical cargo data. Provide clear feedback and report repeat issues to your supervisor.
Operational Oversight: Monitor all documents related to cargo standards and handle all activities to ensure compliance.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with all concerned parties to ensure a smooth workflow and resolve any issues.
WHO YOU ARE:
Education: You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Air Cargo Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Knowledgeable: You have a basic knowledge of airline cargo and logistics. Prior experience in the field is a big plus!
Fluent Communicator: You are fluent in both written and spoken English.
Tech Savvy: You're proficient in MS Office/Google Suite.
