About the Role

As a New Business AE, you will be the face of our product to our prospective customers - ensuring that prospects learn about the value of Scribe, delivering sales content and live product demos to customers and prospects, and fielding inbound objections. As an Account Executive you’ll own the complete sales process from start to finish. In addition, you’ll help businesses solve workforce documentation problems felt by organizations around the world.

Scribe is a truly horizontal product used by over 600,000 organizations around the world, so you will have the opportunity to work with a large volume and wide range of customers across industries and roles.  Given your unique customer vantage point, you will work closely with Growth, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support team members daily to test new ways to reach users effectively.

Examples of what you’ll be doing

  • Focus on new customer acquisition
  • Build a strong sales pipeline while exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets, closing high velocity transactional deals with a customer-centric and efficient mindset
  • Actively manage your pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success
  • Own and update sales activity in Salesforce
  • Discovery calls for teams of users to enable customers to convert as Scribe Enterprise users
  • Identify acute business problems customers are trying to solve with Scribe and position Scribe as a solution
  • Work to develop and circulate best practices in a collaborative environment 
  • Deliver live product demos to inbound prospects to highlight the value of Scribe and answer functional questions
  • Respond to functional questions via email, leveraging existing assets/guides and contributing to our growing library of FAQs
  • Work closely with Growth, CS, Marketing, and Support team members daily to surface relevant customer insights and feedback
  • Exude a passion for Scribe as a solution for business challenges

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales experience (2+ closing), and is interested in building new skills and continuing to grow their career at a fast-paced start-up. 
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and close business with repeatable processes
  • Ability to manage pipeline and communicate deal progression to leadership
  • Comfort with a land and expand motion closing $15k-$50k ACV deals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences 
  • Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to handle a large volume of prospects and customers 
  • Passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn new SaaS software applications.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for customers.

Compensation

$160K-$180K OTE + equity + benefits. We consider several factors when determining compensation, including location, experience, and other job-related factors.
