The MBA Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting the Waymo Operations team in a variety of ways including strategic planning / visioning, process improvement / automation, and data analysis / modeling. The intern will be embedded deeply within Waymo Operations and have the opportunity to drive business impact across: strategy, manufacturing and supply chain, fleet operations, commercial operations, and product enablement

You will:

  • Lead or co-lead strategy and operations projects answering critical questions related to Waymo's operational strategy
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to drive cost savings and quality assurance
  • Analyze and model data sets to improve Waymo Operations decision making
  • Prepare key presentations and reports on working initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with key stakeholders across Waymo including Product, Finance, Partnerships, and others

We require:

  • Enrollment in a MBA program focused on technology, operations, supply chain, analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally manage stakeholders
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to fast-moving situations

We prefer:

  • Experience working in operations, strategy, or similar roles in tech, management consulting, investment banking, etc.
  • Experience in the automotive or AV industry / passion for transforming the mobility landscape
The expected base salary for this full-time position is listed below. The salary will be prorated based on the number of weeks you are employed as an intern. Interns are also eligible to participate in the Company’s generous benefits programs, subject to eligibility requirements.
