We are actively sourcing an experienced Digital & Technology (D&T) Business Partner – St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney (SVHN) to join our D&T Team in St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA) to influence and drive the planning, delivery and performance of D&T services for SVHN.

Reporting to the National Director of D&T Business Partnering and the SVHN CEO, you will use your creativity and expertise to support growth, operational plans and D&T’s/SVHN’s strategic and operational objectives, aligned to the SVHA Strategy 2030 and the SVHA Mission more broadly.

Seeking an enthusiastic, resilient people person who can communicate easily with stakeholders of varying levels of technical knowledge and capability.  You will have exceptional client management skills to work closely alongside senior stakeholders within our D&T and St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Partner with stakeholders and staff to provide insights and direction on D&T capability requirements to support delivery of the SVHN roadmap

  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, design and delivery of technology applications, devices, infrastructure, architecture and D&T support model to meet customer experience targets

  • Proactively drive delivery of the project pipeline in partnership with stakeholders, including project prioritisation, design, business casing, funding, governance, resource allocation, implementation, risk management and performance measurement

  • Lead, develop and manage the engagement process between D&T and SVHN, facilitating a constructive teaming culture

  • Act as the key escalation point for critical (P1) and severe (P2) D&T incidents impacting SVHN

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participation in SVHN accreditation & risk management activities, ensuring compliance across relevant standards and legislation

Things that work for us:

  • Significant experience in technology strategy, architecture, planning and delivery

  • Previous experience in senior management positions; executive level desirable

  • D&T knowledge and experience within the Healthcare industry, including Tier 1 EMR systems experience

  • Strong client management experience with advanced influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities

  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably at post graduate level in IT, Commerce, Management and/ or Business or a related area, or recognised relevant industry certifications

  • Accreditation and Qualifications in Project, Program and Portfolio Management (e.g. MSP, P3O, PRINCE2 and Agile) and ITIL Certification (or equivalent)

  • Possessing a clinical background would be an advantage

  • Ability to work Full Time, 3-4 days per week onsite and be flexible to work outside of business hours when needed for critical incident management 

  • Current 2024 Flu Vaccine (or willingness to receive) and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations - mandatory
