Job Description:

Responsibilities: We are looking for an outstanding Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support databases, many of them considered critical in maintaining, provisioning, and monitoring Sabre’s global network. The candidate will play a key role in all new departmental initiatives while continuing to ensure the availability/stability of existing functionality.

This position is in a centralized database administration team, which provides 7x24 support in test/cert/prod environments.

Job Description: Oracle DBA with minimum of 5 yrs. experience on Oracle Database version 12c and 19c, hands on Oracle RAC, Golden Gate, Data Guard, Cloud Computing, and scripting preferred.

Skills:

· 5 to 7 years of experience with 24x7 Production and development databases.

· BS/BA or MS/MA in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines preferred, or equivalent years of experience

· Database admin at mission critical web-service company with high availability.

· 4 - 5 yrs experience in RAC.

· 2 - 3 yrs experience of Data Guard and Golden Gate.

· 1-2 yrs experience in Cloud database technologies (AWS/GCP/Oracle)

· Other RDBMS technologies MySQL, MS SQL, Couchbase, Postgress preferred.

· Good to have cloud certification/Knowledge (AWS/GCP)

· DBA certification required

· Strong English speaking, writing and communication skills

· Scripting preferred
