As the Senior Manager of the Global Supplier Diversity Team, you will be responsible for translating GP strategic objectives into program roadmaps to realize distinct and measurable benefits for the organization. You will lead a team driving supplier diversity programs and partner with procurement to ensure our sourcing standards enhance the sustainability of our operations while improving social and environmental conditions throughout our supply chain and communities. Key Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Strategic Translation: Convert overarching strategic goals into actionable project and program roadmaps, ensuring tangible and quantifiable organizational benefits.

  • Metrics and Indicators: Initiate and steer program metrics, crafting pivotal indicators and objectives that bolster program success.

  • Progress Reporting: Consistently communicate program progress to executive leadership, oversee risk management, and deploy strategic solutions to guarantee effective program execution.

  • Strategic Recommendations: Propose forward-thinking strategies, initiatives, and policies that align with and advance program aims.

  • Method Optimization: Apply accumulated knowledge and past experiences to refine and elevate the efficiency of program methodologies.

Leading Through Influence

  • Organizational Change Management:  Employ advanced change management techniques and instruments to expedite adoption rates and secure the project or program’s investment returns.

  • Judgment and Adaptation: Apply discerning judgment and adaptive strategies to motivate and influence team members towards embracing necessary changes for the program’s triumphant rollout.

  • Industry Representation: Act as an ambassador for Micron at external engagements, including panel discussions, roundtables, and various outreach endeavors.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Strategic Partnership: Forge a trusted partnership with the DEI and Global Procurement teams to craft program objectives, pinpoint opportunities, and drive goal attainment.

  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover project opportunities that foster a competitive edge and ensure successful program execution.

  • Community and Business Alliances: Establish and nurture relationships with non-profit entities, community allies, and diverse local businesses to collectively propel program objectives forward.

  • Supplier Liaison: Serve as the pivotal contact for potential suppliers, facilitating connections with procurement teams.

  • Technical Support Provision: Offer expert technical guidance to both internal stakeholders and external collaborators.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in business, sustainability, economics, political science, public administration, human resources, supply chain or related areas

  • 5 or more years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, supplier diversity, sustainability or related function

  • Proficient in O365, SAP, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent

  • Excellent in written and verbal communication with expert presentation skills in front of large audiences

Preferred:

  • PMP, CPSD, MOS, PROSCI, or related Project Management certifications

  • Strong understanding of sustainable procurement strategies and emerging topics and trends in ESG

  • Semiconductor or other manufacturing company experience

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$112,000.00 - $249,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
