Job Purpose

Ensuring consistent supply of finished medicines to customer to meet the company targets. Provide support to VSLs at West Wharf site in terms of supply of quality raw materials and components through the planning and buying process also keep close liaison and coordination with both internally and externally in order to supply right quality products on the actual need and as per requirement.

Ensure compliance with global GSK policies and procedures comprising of GQPs, GQMPs and supply chain policies.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Professional degree - Supply Chain Management

  • At least 5 years experience in relevant role

  • ERP knowledge

  • Stakeholder management

  • Disciplinary knowledge in Production, Engineering, Procurement & Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuity of finished goods supply to Customer through co-ordination among GMS Functions for achieving KPI targets

  • Develop and maintain close coordination and communication with functions like Procurement, Production, Quality and Engineering to meet customer expectation and meeting business targets, provide guidance to streamline planning activities to Site Scheduling Manager to ensure best practice of planning are in use

  • To review and implement stock policy and ensure its alignment with Site inventory policy

  • To implement the Tier accountability process in the department meeting

  • Ensure that level-1 audit is conducted as per schedule and proper and timely actions are taken for compliance against observations

  • Full participation in level 2 and 3 audits

  • Ensure that a robust Risk Management process is in place & in use within the function

  • Embed the standards of EHS and living safely culture in the function

  • Bi-annually capacity review as per the group guideline with the stakeholders and present the report to the Site Leadership Team

  • To ensure adequate selection, training and development of staff to achieve their maximum potential to meet business objectives

  • Conduct feedback and performance evaluation sessions of the reporting team members

  • Active participation in new product launch and product transfer meetings of site.
