Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Duties

  • The main purpose is to make release stable images for product (ensure the build stability and the image stability with the verification)
  • New branches, packages addition/deletion management, control package versions
  • Release product image of B2B product from system daily by making snapshot image and proceeding release process
  • Perform smoke test, functional/non-functional test, end-user test and evaluate quality of main function
  • Debug and manage issue until it is resolved when problem occurs on a build result or snapshot image
  • Make running changes applied to software and release software
  • Create release note for snapshot image and post a notice of the snapshot image so that others can use the most stable image
  • Maintenance support to product teams for build, infra and package job of maintenance products
  • Do robustness tests of snapshot using VD-tool, report issue and submit them to system
  • Use Jenkins and related systems to manage software, source code. Do maintain and develop Jenkins system

Skills and Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, S/W Engineering or IT related field
  • At least 1 years of experience in software development
  • FRESHERS ARE WELCOME
  • Good in English communication for working
  • C/C++, Linux, Debugging Tools
  • Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, Gitlab
  • Hands-on experience on IOT product will be preferred
  • TV Domain Knowledge [System Layer, Middleware Layer, Apps] is a big plus
  • Knowledge about Linux build system is a big plus
  • Knowledge in DTV mobile connectivity technologies [like Miracast, DLNA etc] is a big plus
