Meet the team:

There is never a dull day at Dexcom and our tax team are at the centre of things.

We are looking for a VAT accountant to join our indirect taxes team based in EMEA, which is part of Dexcom’s friendly, supportive and truly global Tax & Treasury team.  This role is based with other tax and treasury colleagues at our state-of-the-art office in Vilnius, Lithuania and will report to our EMEA VAT compliance manager. 

This role is critical to the maintaining the success of the Tax Department and will support the rapid growth of the Dexcom business.
 

Where you come in:

  • You will prepare VAT returns, EC Sales Lists and Intrastat returns for review by our EMEA VAT compliance manager and submit the returns by the relevant deadlines
  • You will gather all supporting documentation for VAT, EC Sales List and Intrastat reporting, and implement compliance checks to ensure accurate submissions and robust compliance
  • You will liaise with colleagues in other teams to give advice and guidance and, where necessary,  to ensure corrective action is taken as necessary to maintain compliance and accuracy
  • You will reconcile VAT GL accounts, including identifying and explaining any variances for review by our EMEA VAT compliance manager
  • You will support and provide input to projects, including IT testing
  • You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of indirect tax developments throughout the EMEA region and highlighting any relevant changes.
  • You will carry out other duties as assigned by management

What makes you successful:

  • You have prior background in a VAT role
  • You are familiar with Oracle, SAP or other major ERP system
  • You focus on detail and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You can communicate effectively in English
  • You are adept at multi-tasking and dealing with competing deadlines
  • You have an excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €2,316.25 to €2,861.25 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
