Our mission is to solve accounting operations for small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs). Currently, 60% of the 6 million SMBs in the United States say they are unhappy with their accounting operations: it's a mess of disconnected processes, technology, and people. To solve this need, we take over our clients’ accounting operations by pairing our people with our technology platform that unifies financial data, workflow, and communications. The Decimal platform helps automate large chunks of repetitive manual processes and manages the completion of work that can’t be automated.

What’s the role?

As a member of our Analyst team, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Perform end to end accounting process for multiple clients

  • Maintain the books up to date by utilizing softwares such as QBO and Dext

  • Reconcile clients’ bank and accounting ledgers

  • Process A/P invoices using bill-pay systems such as Bill.com and Routable

  • Process payroll journal entries

  • Prepare, analyze, and review of month-end financial statements and supporting schedules

  • Perform accounting related project based tasks assigned by the managers

• Problem solve with a technology-first mindset

• Proactively identify opportunities for automation

• Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of QuickBooks Online experience.

• 3-4 years of experience with AP SMB Point Solutions such as Bill.com or Routable.

• 3-4 years of Accounts Payable experience.

• 3-4 years of end-to-end accounting experience.

• Exposure to managing multiple clients' books is required

• Experience with cloud accounting tools like Xero, Dext, Expensify, Hubdoc, Settle, etc., is a plus.

• Experience as an accounting reviewer is a plus.

• CPA License is a plus

• Good interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with AMs and Clients.

• At least 1 year of external audit experience from one of the top firms preferred:

  • SGV & Co. (Partner of Ernst & Young); Navarro Amper & Co. (Partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd.); Isla Lipana & Co. (Partner of PWC); R.G. Manabat & Co.; Punongbayan & Araullo (Partner of Grant Thornton International Ltd.); Roxas Cruz Tagle & Co.
