Description:

Program Coordinator Magnet NYP/Allen Hospital - Full time Days

Use your Magnet Program knowledge and Nursing experience to provide assistance to the Magnet Program Director with the overall planning, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing compliance with the American Nurse Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet® Recognition Program at the campus level (Allen Hospital). Assist with appropriate analysis and development of action plans toward achieving and sustaining an environment of nursing excellence. Facilitate relationships between clinical nurses, nursing leadership, interprofessional colleagues, and the community. Assist Magnet Program Director with nursing and interprofessional education and communication regarding comprehensive nursing excellence program. Contribute to strategic initiatives through timely data management, analysis, and graph display for driving actionable nursing and organizational outcomes as directed by the Magnet Program Director.

Preferred -

Masters Degree

Experience in Magnet designation and redesignation writing

ANCC Board certification in clinical specialty

Required :

BSN

New York State RN licensure

Work Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience and progressive leadership experience in nursing

Strong consensus building and interpersonal skills

Experience with Magnet Recognition Programs

Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize duties and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to effectively problem-solve.
