We are seeking a Splunk Administrator with Oracle EBS Technical Development experience, to support the Marine Corps ‘Change Management’ and ‘System Security’ events log tracking for audit purposes. The unique candidate would also support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based logistics system that provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information. The desired candidate will work in an Agile development team building Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, Configurations, Customizations, and Workflows (RICECPW) solutions. Candidate will develop, design, configure, test and document solutions based on the requirements and user stories.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Splunk

  • Experience creating and editing all shared knowledge objects (datamodel, datasets, eventtypes, tags, fields, interesting fields, lookups, and alerts)

  • Experience with RegEx and Great 8’s

  • Experience writing optimized SPL/SPL2 commands and arguments with subsearches and eval / stat functions

  • Experience writing summary indexing, report using data model acceleration features

  • Experience creating, adding and/or editing existing Dashboard panels and adding controls to dashboard(s)

  • Experience configuring data inputs, forwarding & receiving, indexes, sourcetypes, reports

  • Experience and understanding of configurations for system components (heavy forwarders, indexer, search head)

  • Experience with DB Connect Configuration Connections and Identities

  • Experience with DB Connect Data Lab Input configurations, SQL Explorer

  • Understanding of Change Management OS and DB logs related

  • Experience providing updates to configuration files

  • Document all creation of objects, configurations and processes

  • Must participate in daily scrum calls and other calls related to Agile methodologies

  • Must participate in a once-a-week, 5-10 minute, scheduled, on-camera call with team members

Oracle EBS:

  • Experience with MVC programming OAF including personalization and customization with java objects to include use of XML, JSON, PL/SQL Objects, packages, procedures, functions and using PL/SQL to create web services.

  • Experience developing customizations with Oracle Forms and Reports

  • Experience programming and implementing Oracle Workflows

  • Knowledge of EBS functional and technical processing and tables, including open interface tables, APIs, Interfacing and Concurrent Programs. 

  • Experience with EBS Users and relationships to people, employees, parties, resources and assignments and TCA.  Experience with approval processing and PO, AP modules. 

  • Experience with Install Base, Order Management and many more.

  • Provide technical support during the release testing phases.

  • Provide detailed deployment instructions for successful migration/backout of code.

  • Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.

  • Manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.

  • As required, provide updates to the deliverables identified for the development team.

  • Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
