Job Description:

The Tax Manager is a crucial role responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and maximizing its tax efficiency. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in tax accounting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven capability to optimize processes with tax technology. 

Key Responsibilities:

Income Tax Return Compliance and Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual ASC740 income tax provisions
Ensure filing of accurate and timely tax returns for various tax entities, ensuring adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Prepare and/or review state apportionment workpapers
Assist with preparation of transfer pricing calculations and journal entries.
Maintain the tax calendar and ensure timely completion of federal, state and international income tax filings and estimated payments. 
Tax Planning and Strategy:
Assist with the analysis of federal, state and international tax planning efforts to minimize tax liabilities while complying with all regulations.
Coordinate with the accounting and finance teams to accurate forecast cash tax obligations.
Work collaboratively with the VP of Tax to analyze the tax implications of business decisions.
Monitor international and US legislation to assess implications on existing structure as well as assist with developing tax modeling. 
Additional Responsibilities:
Responsible for SOX 404 for all tax function controls and documentation requirements.
Provide support related to US tax examinations and responding to inquiries by the IRS and state and local jurisdictions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws and regulations through continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation (CPA preferred).
Minimum of 5-7 years tax experience with corporate public companies, ideally with a mix of Big 4 and industry.
Strong understanding of US tax laws and regulations (specific industry knowledge, a plus).
Proven track record of successfully managing complex tax projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
