As a Senior Analyst of the Item Setup, Regulatory Reporting and Monitoring Compliance team, your role will involve the development, maintenance, and execution of the Item Setup Compliance program. This team supports the alignment of products and processes with federal, state, and local requirements, identifying key item attributes related to our ever-evolving compliance programs and working with tech teams create data structures and interfaces to populate and maintain the necessary fields.

You will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of mitigation plans, monitoring program efficacy, and ensuring adherence to company standards of integrity and ethics.

Reporting to the Director of Item Setup Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Monitoring, this role will partner with teams across the organization, including varied Compliance subject matter areas, Merchandising, Operations, Legal and Tech. This collaboration will be essential to develop and implement strategies to programmatically mitigate risks and promote business growth.

Location: This position is based in Bentonville, AR and does not offer remote or hybrid options.

You’ll make an impact by…

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of the Item Setup Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Monitoring program to ensure alignment with Walmart's Global Compliance & Ethics objectives and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate the efficient flow of product information to a third-party information services provider for regulatory review.
  • Integrating insights gained from product reviews into internal systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and operational needs.
  • Collaborating with technology partners to contribute to the creation of scalable products and tools that automate and deploy AI tools, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Building and leveraging relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance awareness and adherence to the requirements of the Item Setup Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Monitoring program.
  • Assisting in program development and maintenance by providing valuable insights to guide implementation, driving program monitoring, and proactively mitigating risk to uphold Walmart's integrity.

  • You are proficient in using compliance software and tools for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • You can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work and meeting compliance goals.
  • You are a continuous learner with a passion for staying up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Science, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in data analysis and insights.
  • 1 – 3 years' experience in project management.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
