Job Description
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is recruiting for a Supply Technician 1 for the Auxiliary Services Department. This position will perform a variety of services in the mail room. Duties include, but are not limited to: sending mail and packages from the TMCC mail room, receiving mail and packages from all shippers at the TMCC mail room, making deliveries of mail and packages received to all TMCC campuses, collecting mail and packages from all TMCC campuses, assisting the property inventory clerk with the annual fixed asset inventory, assisting the mail room supervisor with providing guidance to student workers; and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
This position requires graduation from high school or equivalent education and two (2) years of stocking, storeroom or warehouse experience which included maintaining inventory records, inventory storage and handling, shipping and receiving materials and equipment, and/or ordering supplies, equipment and materials; OR
One (1) year of experience as a Supply Assistant in Nevada State service; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above
Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances.
A valid Class “C” driver’s license or higher operator’s license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment
Schedule
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.

Grade 25

The Grade is determined when the position was created. Salary placement above a Step 01 at initial appointment is determined based on the recruitment, the candidate’s qualifications, internal equity and budgets.
