As Sr. Marketing Manager – Healthcare Delivery In-Store Experiences, you will play a critical role as we create new and exciting experiences within our retail and clinic locations. In collaboration with cross functional teams, you will bring unique health service strategies and format pilots to life with a customer-first approach. On a diverse team that cares for the well-being of our customers and colleagues by working together in a supportive, collaborate and agile environment.

You will be part of a team responsible for creating inspiring in-store patient experiences, focused on our delivering innovative retail health services pilots within newly reimagined store formats, primarily focused on our improving consumer access to high-quality, personalized health care. You will play a key role in driving utilization and adoption of these services within the physical environment.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop health-centric retail experiences that are rooted in consumer insights and patient empathy with a test and learn mentality aimed at validating hypothesizes that elevate how health care is delivered
  • Partner with Lead Director on the strategic development of customer-focused experience strategies and pilots amongst cross-functional teams.  Own execution of end-to-end in-store strategies, while also innovating and creating new ways of thinking and tactics that meet objectives
  • Leverage insights from a variety of internal and external data sources, outline key customer journeys for these experiences, particularly outlining the decision-making points and pain points that our retail experience design needs to consider
  • Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders, such as Customer Experience, Healthcare Delivery, Health Services Marketing, Creative, Experience Design, Architecture & Engineering, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Operations

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding; retail marketing or retail agency/strategy experience strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of cross-functional leadership experience
  • Prior experience working in retail with a focus on the physical store experience

This position will be hybrid with anticipated in office days Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Candidates will be within a reasonable commuting distance to one of the following CVS hubs:

  • Wellesley, MA
  • New York, NY
  • Woonsocket, RI
  • Chicago, IL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Initiative-taking, high-capacity individual who can win in a demanding, performance-driven environment and make thoughtful decisions even when under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills that can be effectively articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base
  • Ability to problem solve by identifying and removing barriers while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Proven history of working collaboratively with internal and external business partners to deliver business results and ROI
  • Prior experience working with internal creative and external agencies– ability to provide strategic direction, feedback, and ensure that creative is delivered on strategy
  • Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to question the status quo to drive improvements and optimizations
  • Strong familiarity with the in-store retail environment and a deep appreciation of end-to-end consumer shopping experience
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent (4 years’ experience and High School Diploma/GED) required.
  • Master’s degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $199,144.80


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
