We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Marketing professional to be the strategic champion of our Fund, Budgetary and Grant Accounting solutions. You will be responsible for defining what is different, better, and remarkable about Workday's offerings and how they meet buyer needs for our Fund, Budgetary and Grant Accounting solutions. You will collaborate closely with Product Management across Grants Management, Finance, Payroll Accounting, and potentially Planning and Reporting to craft a compelling vision for how Workday empowers customers across industries to maximize the impact of their grant funding. You will also be responsible for growing the awareness and developing the marketing plan of these critical solutions and how it has delivered customer value. Creating compelling content and supporting marketing campaigns will be vital to your success in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Define the value proposition of Fund, Budgetary and Grant Accounting solution areas with buy-in from critical stakeholders, including crafting and communicating a powerful narrative that showcases the unique value of Workday's Grants Solution and its transformative potential for our customers.
Deeply understand the industry landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics and bring this insight back to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies. Support in developing a customer story strategy to capture and use customer quotes and references to tell the story of grant users & organizations.
Collaborate closely with product leadership, outbound product managers, sales, and industry strategy teams to drive product adoption and market leadership.
Partner with the enablement team to educate the field on the value proposition and enable them to effectively articulate it in sales cycles.
Develop and execute go to market plans to drive awareness and adoption of Workday’s Fund, Budgetary and Grant Accounting solutions in partnership with sales, marketing and product.
Partner across the marketing organization to create marketing campaigns, create compelling content, and build relationships with key stakeholders
Analyze data and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Write and edit marketing materials, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, and social media content
Attend and speak at both Workday-led and external Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Non-Profit industry events to promote Workday’s Fund, Budgetary and Grant Management solutions
Build and maintain relationships with key influencers, including analysts and thought leaders in the accounting and finance industry
About You
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product marketing
5+ years experience working within enterprise software
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Passion for marketing technology and innovation
Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices
Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing automation tools
Knowledge of Fund, Budgetary and Grant Accounting solutions and the industries that require these solutions
Added bonus: knowledge of technology, communications and media industries and solutions

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
