Summary:
As a Security Delivery Practitioner, you will assist in defining requirements, designing and building security components, and testing efforts. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our systems and protecting sensitive data. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing security requirements, implementing security measures, and conducting security testing. You will also contribute to the development of security policies and procedures, as well as provide guidance and support to the team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems and networks.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
- Assist in defining security requirements for new projects.
- Conduct security audits and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in implementing security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met.
- Contribute to the development of security awareness and training programs.
- Assist in incident response and recovery efforts.
- Participate in security incident investigations.
- Conduct security testing and validation of systems and applications.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of security technologies and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Experience with security incident response and management.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with security automation and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
- Understanding of encryption algorithms and cryptographic protocols.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- An Equivalent Qualification is required.
