The STO Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the end-to-end success of our Time Slot Management software  encompassing full product P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibility. This includes defining and executing the product vision and strategy, driving product innovation, and ensuring the alignment of cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. As the entrepreneurial leader of the product team, the STO Manager will oversee market analysis, competitive positioning, and customer engagement to ensure the product meets market demands and achieves financial targets. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, leadership, and hands-on management to navigate the product through its lifecycle, from ideation to market success.


You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of Software Engineers, Product Owners and other professionals, because of this  we are open to high performing individuals from different backgrounds applying for our STO Manager role. However, you must be able to motivate and manage both technical and non-technical reports.

To lead the product team in defining and executing the product vision and strategy, ensuring market success and financial performance.


What you will do:

  • Develop and Implement Product Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with business objectives and market needs
  • Drive Product Success: Oversee product development from ideation to launch, ensuring the product meets market demands and achieves financial targets.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and manage the go-to-market strategy, including positioning, messaging, and sales enablement to drive product adoption and market penetration
  • Customer and Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions and ensure continuous improvement
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a cross-functional product team, including User-Experience, Product Management and Product Development, to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators to measure product success and make data-driven adjustments as necessary
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support
  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to innovate and optimize processes for better product outcomes
  • Create a Collaborative Environment: Promote a culture of collaboration, open-mindedness, and agility within the team, ensuring that all members feel valued and empowered to contribute


Accountabilities: 

  • Market Penetration: Increase market share and achieve growth targets as defined in the product strategy
  • Budget Adherence: Maintain adherence to the product budget, ensuring effective resource allocation without exceeding financial limits
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user adoption rates, customer satisfaction scores, and revenue targets
  • Team Development: Enhance team capabilities through targeted mentorship and professional development, with measurable improvements in team performance and engagement
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all product developments adhere to security, data integrity, and compliance standards, with zero major breaches or compliance issues
