As a Retail Training Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of learning by using human-centric design practices to understand and meet the needs of our learners. You'll create impactful, customized learning experiences that align with our brand while working alongside a dynamic team known for setting the Gold Standard in training. This is your chance to drive innovation in learning and development, from crafting engaging content to overseeing the full learning lifecycle design, implementation, measurement, and evaluation, all while contributing directly to our strategic goals and growth.

What you’ll do as a Retail Training Specialist

  • Design and facilitate engaging, instructor-led, and e-learning training sessions for DK products, systems, policies, and processes.

  • Partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and the learning team to assess training needs, design solutions, and align on delivery expectations.

  • Design behavioral-based assessments and evaluation tools that measure training effectiveness and link learning outcomes to business performance metrics.

  • Enhance training content with multimedia elements (images, audio, video, etc.) to create a dynamic learning experience.

  • Guide and mentor associates throughout the content creation process, offering constructive feedback to help them refine their skills and enhance the quality of their work.

  • Monitor training outcomes and use data to assess the effectiveness of learning solutions, making adjustments as needed to improve impact.

What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Training, Education, Psychology, or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 1 year of experience with learning content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe, Google Docs, VISIO & PowerPoint.).

  • Previous experience in training design and delivery using multiple delivery methods (classroom, virtual, e-learning, videos, micro-learning, etc.) preferred.

  • Previous experience managing projects of varying complexity and scope.

  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning methodologies, best practices in training design and delivery, blended learning methodologies, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to travel to multiple retail locations approximately 50% of your working time.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 67,200.00 USD - 84,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
