We are seeking an Accountable and Results-Oriented General Accounting & Tax Sr. Analyst to ensure financial accuracy, drive tax compliance, and optimize accounting processes by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI.

About the Role

As General Accounting & Tax Sr. Analyst, you will report directly to the CFO of the Czech/Slovak/Hungary Cluster, delivering accurate financial reporting, managing statutory and tax compliance, and providing reliable data to support business decisions. Your role will involve ensuring accurate and timely financial close, managing tax filings and compliance, supporting audits, and driving process improvements across accounting operations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting and tax knowledge with attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Czech GA and Tax Manager in month end closing, account reconciliations, Trial Balance and Financial Statements review, capitalization and fixed asset, prepaid expenses, cash in transit.
• Preparation, overview, and control of statutory accounting and related adjustments.
• Perform high-quality internal controls .
• Critical support to internal and external auditors, and GBS Teams, during financial and tax audits.
• Serve as Concur and Ariba (Purchase to Pay) Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Preparation, overview, and control of VAT accounting and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in financial systems and tools, including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Concur, and Ariba.

Essential Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting and tax.
• Strong knowledge of Czech statutory and tax law, and US GAAP.
• Detail oriented with collaborative mindset.
