Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Service Operations Manager who is passionate about leading people, driving operational excellence, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. In this role, you will guide a local operations team, secure efficient day‑to‑day execution, and foster a positive, high‑performing culture.
As Service Operations Manager, you will oversee local service operations and ensure that customers receive reliable, high‑quality support. You will lead the implementation of operational strategies, drive continuous improvement, and secure a sustainable end‑to‑end value chain across your area of responsibility

This role is contributing to the Local Business Line Service & Digital under Marine & Ports Division within Automation Business Area in Busan, South Korea.
Key Responsibilities
Direct day‑to‑day operations, coordinating service delivery and team activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Lead and develop the operational team, including Field Service Management, Project Management, Coordinators, Engineering, HSE/QCI, SCM and administrator in Service organization through hiring, training, and clear performance expectations
Ensure service quality standards, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and operational reliability
Ensuring customer focus, the understanding of sense of urgency and care in your direct area of responsibility
Guaranteeing customer retention by delivering superior customer service experience
Utilizing the local practices for notifying the account team about the opportunities
Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect reports
Qualifications for the role
Experience in Marine New Build business and Service business for operating vessels
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire teams while clearly communicating and driving continuous improvement
Problem‑solving capabilities, business negotiation acumen, and experience in operational risk and quality management.
Knowledge of operational systems and tools such as SAP, with data‑driven decision‑making experience
Strong organizational and delegation skills, with excellent communication abilities in both Korean and English
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or management
Experience in management or customer service, ideally within a technical or service‑driven environment is preferred
