Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in network architecture and engineering, with a focus on cloud, SDN, SD-WAN, and data center environments.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Equinix Edge) and data center technologies (e.g., SDN, NFV, virtualization).
Strong understanding of SD-WAN technologies and their implementation.
Experience with network security principles and practices.
Experience with network automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer) are highly desirable.
Impact You'll Make:
Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions for cloud, SDN, SD-WAN, and data center environments.
Lead the development and implementation of network strategies, standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with cloud services, SDN, SD-WAN, and data center operations.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network performance, security, and reliability.
Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Mentor and provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers and architects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking, cloud computing, SDN, SD-WAN, and data center technologies.
