As the Delivery Manager you will be responsible for driving or supporting broad range of strategic initiatives from concept to execution, collaborating closely with senior leadership. This role demands a deep understanding of business operations, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities to create executive presentations, analyze performance, and report on metrics. You will be crucial in driving successful outcomes by fostering collaboration and aligning with Manulife Bank’s strategic vision. As a member of the Strategy, Governance and Controls team your expertise will be deployed to support the Bank’s highest priorities allowing you to continuously tackle the next challenge.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute strategic business initiatives with senior leadership, from development to completion, including decision-making, planning, and implementation.
  • Create, manage, and own initiative-level, end-to-end project plans, including dependency management, roadmaps, milestone views, and various reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify, articulate, and manage risks and issues, sourcing workarounds and solutions to improve execution excellence, delivery predictability, and workflow optimization.
  • Communicate effectively, maintain governance and transparency of initiatives, and embrace change by bringing new ideas forward in alignment with Enterprise governance and agile methodologies.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and timelines, actively participate in an agile environment, motivate and inspire teams to achieve shared goals, and improve processes for better efficiency and productivity.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, providing strategy updates, problem-solving, and project management, while building and maintaining relationships to ensure operational efficiency and support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; supplemented by 5+ years of progressive project management experience demonstrating strategic and operational success
  • Prior experience leading projects through a period of transformation or change is an asset.
  • Ability to think strategically, assess alternatives for short and long-term impacts and act decisively.
  • Robust knowledge MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) is a must
  • Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic business environment with a positive can-do attitude
  • Exceptional communications skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships at executive and senior levels.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or equivalent certification is an asset
  • Knowledge of project planning and tracking tools
  • Confident presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in banking, consulting, and fintech with an entrepreneurial spirit

Salary range is expected to be between

$84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD
