The Business and Travel Shared Services - In Country Business Services – Algeria Country Lead position is an intermediate-level professional role in coordination with the Business Operations Support Services function.  This role directly reports to Middle East and Africa Sub-Cluster lead.

This position will be responsible for the day to day running of the core product service, including operational and vendor management where appropriate. The role will involve ensuring that all duties and requests are resourced and completed in a controlled and timely manner and meet and deliver minimum operating standards to our agreed service levels.

Team/Role Overview:

BTSS is a global service organization that provides a variety of core products and services to the business. These comprise of:

  • Archiving,
  • Mail & Distribution,
  • Managed Print Services,
  • Office Supplies & Stationery,
  • Marketing & Transactional Print,
  • Global Travel,
  • Corporate Card Program,
  • Vehicle Program.

BTSS also is often responsible for other local country and non-core services which vary from country to country, including some Executive Services and SCO related responsibilities etc.


What you"ll do:

  • Archiving, Mail and Distribution, Printing Services, Statement, Office handling and control of vehicles, Travel, Office and Kitchens Supply and other operational support activities processes including related vendor’s management.
  • Direct participation and/or coordination of important projects
  • Ensure efficient delivery of BTSS services in country
  • Conduct regular review of BTSS processes against policy and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal clients
  • Responsible for local daily operational BTSS core services
  • Ensure and maintain good relationships and cooperation with peers, other local or regional units, top management, vendors and partners
  • Actively participate in BTSS country meetings and calls regional meetings and calls where required and other applicable BTSS products activities.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders on requirements and expectations on BTSS performance
  • Participation on regular Third party meetings
  • Act as BAO (Business Activity Owner )

What we’ll need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ University degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant experience in relation to some of the services
  • Vendor Management experience
  • Legal, Financial, Tax and Accounting Topics experience
  • Strong reporting experience & skills
  • Experience in expense management
  • Expert skill set in Microsoft Applications
  • Written & spoken English, French
