In the role of Global Leader for the DataBee Professional Services team, you will be a leader within Comcast Technology Solution’s exciting new cyber security business unit, which sells SaaS and subscription security solutions to the large enterprise and federal government. Currently, two solutions, BluVector and DataBee, both used internally by the Comcast CISO organization, are sold by the business unit. These solutions are advanced threat detection, advanced threat hunting and security operations center and compliance offerings that improve security and compliance in a cost-effective manner. DataBee is the BU’s growth engine and is an innovative security & compliance data fabric platform, a new market segment rapidly replacing SIEM and other legacy security & compliance toolsets.

Reporting to Vice President and General Manager of the DataBee business unit, you will be a working manager, responsible for conducting deployments and leading your team members, who are subject matter expects on various features. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead go-to-market strategy and sales planning for our professional services offering.

Job Description

 Core Responsibilities 

  • You lead the design and construction of a professional services team that goes from zero to one, helping to deploy the world’s first enterprise ready data fabric for security, risk and compliance, DataBee, and an established NDR solution called BluVector. 

  • You take ownership of driving deployments with the goal of ensuring 100%  

  • You coach and mentor a world-class team of exceptional subject-matter-experts who help features and functionality get turned on 

  • You will strategize Go-To-Market approaches and contribute heavily to discussions on pricing, pitching, marketing strategy for professional services and more 

  • You become a trusted advisor to prospect accounts and existing customers, showcasing expertise and empathy. 

  • You link Comcast’s leading technology to solid business cases. 

  • You collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product Management and Product Marketing 

  • You are expected to use past creative experience and sound business judgment to make decisions on the best way to drive growth in the security and compliance data fabric segment. 

  • You are expected to be a self-starter with high levels of intrinsic motivation and a drive for excellence in customer service and value realization 

  • Provide deployment advisory services including best practice design, recommendations, and configurations 

  • Travel to customer locations to assist customers in short-term professional service engagements 

  • Assist deployment customers with testing or troubleshooting. Escalate to support as required 

  • Reproduce customer issues to verify problems and document steps to replicate for Support, Engineering and Operations teams 

  • Become a security data fabric expert through self study, company training, and a desire to excel 

  • Other duties or projects, as assigned 

 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience leading professional services including professional services, including implementation & educational services teams across a substantial region of the world 

  • Experience working with SaaS security enterprise technology 

  • Understanding complex deployment cycles 

  • Experience with SIEM and NDR deployments 

  • Affinity for software, ideally with a knack for IT security 

  • Net new logo deployment accomplishments and value realization experience 

  • Desire to be coached and a structured approach to work with a proven sales process. 

  • Ability to use internal resources, partners, and team members to be successful. 

  • An ‘in the field’ mentality leading you to meet customers & prospects face to face wherever possible.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $140,402.01 USD-$329,067.22 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
