CACI is seeking a clearer Training Analyst / Development to add to its Product Assurance team in Albuquerque, NM. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and an independent thinker needing minimal oversight.
The Opportunity:

  • Specialize in the planning and execution of instructional assignments.
  • Determine criteria and metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and will conduct evaluations and learning assessments.
  • Monitors and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements per customer requirements.
  • Develops, directs, plans, and evaluates training programs or activities to meet external customer learning objectives


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in documentation quality improvement efforts
  • Follows AS9100 standards
  • CDRL collaborating with technicians, engineering, PM, and others to define training plans, procedures, documentation,
  • Understanding of reading standards and requirements (MIL-stds, Navy specific standards)
  • Collaborates with customers, technical staff, or other internal functional groups to define and develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content in accordance to customer CDRL requirements e.g. training approach (interactive, documented lesson guides, trainee data guide requirements, on-the-job training guidebook/manual)
  • Applies training development knowledge for project that may require needs analysis, job duty task analysis, front end analysis, training requirements analysis, and custom course development.
  • Creates course content, training materials, visual aids and documentation across a variety of instructional formats such as class-based, field training, interactive course ware (ICW) development, computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT) if applicable
  • Determines criteria and metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and conducts evaluation and learning assessments. Monitors and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed
  • Develops training curriculum, which includes details on operations, maintenance procedures, and technical information, skill development, and practical application required by the students to set up, check out, assemble / disassemble, perform preventive /corrective, maintenance, and safety on system / sub-systems / components.
  • All training material shall be developed for skills equivalent to those of Electronic Technician (ET) personnel at the E3 level. The training materials may be in contractor's format, with MIL-PRF-29612B and NAVEDTRA-131 used as guidance in development of curriculum and media materials
  • Develop the training materials to be Sharable Content Object Reference Model (current version) compliant
  • Develop lesson guides with instructional data (including trainee guide answer keys), trainee guide data requirements and on-the-job training handbook data
  • Access manufacturers' catalogs, drawings and other data relative to operation, maintenance, and service of equipment, may have access to blueprints, sketches, drawings, parts lists, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedures, and production sequence and detail.
  • Experience in writing a training plan, procedures, step-by-step processes


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • An Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field and seven (7) years of experience in training, staff development, designing courses, and/or producing instructional aids/materials.
  • Experience working with technical staff and customers for content creation and instructional design to support projects
  • Experience with NAVSEA and other Naval documentation requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written, grammatical, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize efforts across different stakeholders and business priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills to establish a common understanding of training goals
  • Familiarity with implementation and use of current versions of software tools for graphics, photo editing, and training development, such as Adobe Captivate, Photoshop; TechSmith Camtasia, or Articulate and experience with XML
  • Understanding of the effective application of adult learning theory, principles, concepts, practices, and industry practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite software to create spreadsheets, prepare presentations, reports, and documents.



Desired:

  • An Instructional Systems Design certification
  • Prior training position
  • Experience with NAVSEA and other Naval documentation requirements
  • Familiarity with use and application of style guides
  • Familiarity with ISO Aerospace Standard AS9100 
  • Experience using Microsoft Access databases

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,100 - $124,100
