Job Description Summary:

Leads initiatives to create, maintain and support utilization of the Competency Center to meet The Joint Commission requirements for documentation of competency of the clinical and non-clinical staff at OhioHealth.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study: Education, administration, Communications or related
Years of experience: 3-5

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
Degree in education, administration, communications or related field/Experience Organizational skills, project management, data base creation/management, learning management systems Minimum 3 - 5 years recent Experience in administrative or coordination role

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
Project management Knowledge of the business of healthcare Evidence of innovative and creative problem solving and learning solution Professional oral, written, and presentation communication skills Engaging communicator across the spectrum of associates- front line to executive, medical, clinical, non-clinical and business support 5+ years experience in adult learning role, with knowledge of learning methodologies and learning technologies to provide learning that will achieve outcomes and add value to OhioHealth Prior experience in healthcare industry, but not required

INFORMATION SECURITY
Maintains confidentiality of log-on password(s) and security of other authentication devices (e.g., key fobs, proximity devices, etc.).
Ensures privacy and security of information entrusted to their care.
Uses company business assets and information resources for management-approved purposes only.
Adheres to all information privacy and security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Promptly reports information security incidents to the OhioHealth Information Security Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Program Administration 40-

a. Coordinates activities and functions to support the structure and utilization of the Competency Center b. Aligns competency statements with system and care site skills, requirements and policies c. Collaborates with team members and vendors to ensure optimum utilization and effectiveness d. Advises leaders on utilization status, trends and opportunities. Understands broad impact of program, integrates others to achieve goals f. Assist in the development of new competencies 2. Learning Development/Design 30-

a. Provides creative learning opportunities to promote effective utilization of the Competency Center b. Serves as a primary coordinator for learning programs and tools c. Generates solutions to meet system requirements and close utilization gaps d. Analyzes data, seeks and provides suggestions to address trends e. Provides program solutions to typical and atypical issues f. Creates education for users to facilitate g. Evaluates various facilities and aligns programs 3. Communication 20-

a. Coordinates system-wide communication regarding program status b. Coordinates and effectively utilizes the Site Administrators to provide support and assistance to managers and end users of the center c. Advises administrators and managers on solutions and provide system updates d. Explains detailed information to teammates, vendors and system leaders e. Develops and provides system training and maintains resource materials f.
