Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Application Owner for our Document Management Platform in our fast-growing Data, Processes and Systems (DPS) team to work closely with business stakeholders across the entire company and Information Technology teams. The DPS team consists of specialists in Business Analysis, Project Management and Business Application Management working in the Private Markets Operations department. The team’s focus is the execution of strategic initiatives, design new solutions and introduction of new tools, but also to continuously improve the existing system landscape.
Your main responsibilities are:
Define and maintain a clear product vision for the document management platform, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic objectives and provides value to users across the organization;
Demonstrate leadership and ownership, act as primary point of contact for all stakeholders related to the application;
Manage the vendor relationship, software licenses and maintain a prioritized list of enhancements and issues;
Develop an in depth understanding of the application, data model, interfaces and supported business processes;
Host Steering Committees and Sounding Boards to set priorities, identify pain points and keep the user community informed about the application roadmap;
Harmonize application functionality and reference data across teams and office locations
Review and approve new requirements, analyze the impact of the change on functionalities, interfaces and processes;
Work closely with business analysts and the design team to answer questions on business requirements and review proposed solutions;
Support the requirements analysis and design work of projects having dependencies to the document management platform or ask for enhancements to fulfill the project’s objectives;
Define with stakeholders how solutions will be tested, prepare test cases, execute user acceptance tests, review with stakeholders and receive sign-off for new features;
Prepare training materials and train business users, push for adoption and support the entire change management process;
Coordinate with Compliance and IT Security to ensure the application is compliant with Regulations and our Information Security Policy.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience as an application owner or in a similar hands-on role at the interface between Business and IT;
Experience with Microsoft Document Management tools such Share Point would be a plus;
University degree or equivalent, qualifying experience in Business Economics, Business Informatics or Information Technology;
Motivation to work on own initiative and in collaboration with various partners, ability to deliver on time with a high level of integrity;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions as well as process information quickly;
Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;
Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English, German is a plus.
