Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Information Technology (IT) Business Success organization is looking to hire an Information Technology Business Partner (Mid-level or Senior) to support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) programs in Oklahoma City, OK.

This position will also support E-7/Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C), Bombers, Executive Transport, Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), proprietary programs, and other MS&B OKC programs which operate in multiple locations. The teams who work on these programs design, build, test, deploy, and maintain a variety of engineering solutions and mission critical systems which support military, commercial, and heads of state aircraft customers in the U.S. and around the world.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Translates customer needs into technical requirements including best fit system architectures for current operations and program growth, and requirements related to hardware and software selection, installation, and configuration
  • Leads liaison activities between the business, IT, and other organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure business objectives are met
  • Educates the business on IT capabilities and service offerings
  • Collaborates directly with the business to understand their needs and represent the business within IT to engage the right resources, explore alternatives, and help deploy the right solution with first time quality
  • Guides projects from intake, planning, and funding through implementation, validation, and business acceptance
  • Communicates timely status of project and program activities, including risks and issues, to leadership and stakeholders
  • Investigates innovative and alternate solutions to address current and anticipated business needs
  • Applies critical thinking, ingenuity, and problem solving to evaluate potential solutions and provide recommendations
  • Identifies opportunities for automation, technology optimization, innovation, and business simplification.  Implement standards and best practices to improve current processes
  • Demonstrates teamwork, listening, organization, and prioritization skills to work effectively in a diverse, cross-functional environment with shifting priorities and requirements

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final US Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers, peers, other employees, and all levels of leadership
  • 3+ years of experience with defining and implementing customer and/or business system technical operational requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in information security compliance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Networking, or other related disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience with risk management, including privacy controls, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in Aerospace business functions, e.g., program management, engineering, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects and using standard project management tools, e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and leading executive level presentations

Typical Education & Experience:
Mid-Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Summary pay range Mid-Level (Level 3): $88,400 - $119,600

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $105,400 - $142,600
