MOBILE APP PROGRAMMER (CONTRACT) - EL SEGUNDO, CA  

Skyryse is seeking a contract programmer to develop cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android devices. This role requires translating product concepts and designs created in Figma into fully functional, production-ready applications using modern cross-platform frameworks such as React Native.

The application must be architected to support rapid content updates by non-technical internal stakeholders, including members of the design, business development, governmental affairs, and investor relations teams. This includes building a structured and intuitive update mechanism that enables content changes without requiring direct code modifications.

This is a full-time onsite contract role based in El Segundo, CA.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, functional mobile interfaces.
• Architect application structure to support ongoing content updates by non-technical users.
• Optimize application performance for graphics-heavy or interactive content.
• Prepare, package, and submit applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Manage provisioning profiles, certificates, and platform compliance requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience developing and shipping cross-platform mobile applications.
• Strong experience with React Native and modern mobile development frameworks.
• Experience deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Demonstrated experience integrating 3D models into mobile applications.
• Experience optimizing performance for interactive or rendering-intensive applications.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience developing applications that interface with hardware or embedded systems.
• Native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development experience
• Experience implementing over-the-air update mechanisms or dynamic content systems
• Experience is creating mobile game application on iOS

The posted salary range reflects the potential base pay for this role, adjusted to account for varying geographic markets. Final compensation will be based on factors such as your location, job-related skills, experience, and internal alignment, including equity and benefits.
