The Project Management Lead is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.

Responsibilities:
  • ·Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specified projects ensuring consistency with Citi Project Management Governance Policy, Citi PM in a Box , Citi Taxonomy, Tech and Non-Tech guidelines, and Enterprise Quality Assurance Standards  (EQPA)).
  • Support owner of the relationship between Transition Services & Divestitures group and the country PMO, Global and Regional leads for program deliverables
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
  • Full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
  • Ensures creation and reviews of artifacts within all phases of projects that aligns to Project Tracking System (PTS)  e.g. project plan , scope requirements, project communication plan,  and central project issue log.
  • Ensures resources are assigned to project & monitor commitment.
    ·Ensures change control is executed throughout project per Citi guidelines and PTS requirements .
  • Identifies, documents, and understands project dependencies Identify key stakeholders who participate in project scope definition.
  • Ensures appropriate project staffing levels and roles within system.
  • Partners with cross function peers to create, administer, track, and eventually close work efforts within the system.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in project management, primarily in financial services.
  • Working  knowledge of Citi PM Standards and Policy, EPQA Process, Project Tracking Tools and Reporting.
  • Experience with JIRA and Enterprise Task Manager tool
  • Experience in supervising project managers/business analysts/project officers.
  • Experience in interaction at Board/Executive management level of businesses to facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional macro level topics with key stakeholders (often including Senior Management).
  • Deep understanding of business practices, consumer business metrics and technology for divestitures .
  • Experienced in the Divestiture Lifecycle and Transition Services Agreement processes .
  • PMP/CAPM,  and Agile SCRUM related certifications are desirable.
  • Capacity to work in highly pressured & volatile environment.
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills .
  • Ability to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
