    Home based role

    The Consulting Associate Director will be responsible for growing our health and care consulting business, setting structures and processes to allow for the efficient execution of a growth strategy across the company, both within existing and new markets. They are accountable for helping to design consulting solutions and services, taking them to market, sales and delivery of projects. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •    Define the consulting business strategy for the business. Bring new perspectives, strategies and opportunities for how consulting can drive core business and revenue objectives forward
    •    Design structures and processes to allow for efficient execution of the consulting business strategy across the organisation 
    •    Take the lead on identifying, negotiating and closing new sales opportunities at a national, regional and local level
    •    Deliver go-to-market, pipeline development and new business wins through a combination of prime and sub-contractor bidding, IP co-sell and channel partner reseller agreements
    •    Raise IQVIA’s profile and build IQVIA into a trusted consulting partner with hyper-scalers (Microsoft, AWS, Google), systems integrators, consultancies and specialist technology providers 
    •    Build and develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across IQVIA which supports applicable FY business strategies and growth targets
    •    Develop and nurture strong business relationships with C-level/executives in the NHS, Social Care, Private Health Providers and other client organisations

    SKILLS, TRAITS & COMPETENCIES

    •    Experience of growing consulting businesses from start-up and within existing businesses seeking to diversify their offerings
    •    Well networked across markets, with clients and partners
    •    Minimum 8 years experience of general business and management, with significant exposure to commercial functions, strategy, partnerships and top level stakeholders
    •    Proven track record working in UK public sector, preferably healthcare, having closed large, complex six-figure deals which combine elements of advisory, digital, data, analytics, platforms and AI/ML/NLP elements
    •    Extensive experience in and a strong track record of identifying and building successful partnerships which lead to revenue generating deals
    •    Demonstrated success at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and creating buy-in at all levels within the organisation to achieve results
    •    Experience working in a multi-country, matrix organisation preferable
    •    Outstanding verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
    •    Knowledge and understanding of how to develop strong trust-based client relationships at C-level - balancing confidence, humility, trust and diplomacy at all levels
    •    Strong strategic thinking ability and exceptional goal striving orientation
    •    Ability to interpret and analyse complex information from a range of sources and to present in a succinct and compelling way
    •    Inspirational leader with excellent ability to lead initiatives across teams, and who empowers and inspires others to deliver exceptional results together
    •    Ability to input to, drive and own, as required, business planning process relating to sales, account management and market opportunities, including market reviews, focus areas and revenue targets
    •    Attend and contribute to regular internal and wider business meetings s required
    •    Own the relationship with complimentary business units, developing models of collaboration and co-bidding / co-working and collaborating with company-wide support functions such as bid team, finance and HR
